Avante-Garde Mission Bay Apartment Living
Almost avant-garde, with classic black and white tones, the kitchen has an element of surprise and whimsy. You enter the residence through a gallery of black and white art, which leads around the corner into the glamorous grand finale of the kitchen. High gloss turned legs create a bar-like feel to the kitchen seating area and are perfectly accompanied by fur covered stools, in keeping with the unconventional and unique style of the owners. The furniture-like matt black cabinet to the back of the kitchen houses the pantry, ovens and fridge, finished with vinyl panels and imported handles from South Africa. |
Fish scale (or mermaid) tiles add a pearlescent sheen to the kitchen, a glamorous surprise that you only get the full glimmer from when you walk around the corner into the kitchen.
Porcelain, which looks like statuario marble, was used for the benchtops and waterfalls the end of the servery, under the louver covered windows. |
